During the summer of my junior year in high school, I participated in the DigiPen Summer Robotics Program at the Pacific Sound Skills Center. I was responsible for retrofitting a preexisting robot into a sumo robot by changing some of the sensors and mechanisms as well as reprogramming the Arduino using C. Despite working independently because my partner had to exit the program abruptly, my robot was able to make it to the semi-final stages of the sumo competition.
